HEY YOU

I read them all, hdu. & they are not boring. :( I just never have anything intelligent to say, but I am glad you are enjoying your time there!

I want you to go to more ikebana classes, too; your first attempt looks really pretty already. *o*

hooray someone reads my random brain spills \(;D;)/
i'll definitely keep going to ikebana classes when I can *3* I really have no idea what I'm doing though ahaha
apparently there is a traditional way to do it or a free style way to do it, so they just handed me a bundle of random flowers and told me to do whatever I want. It's fun *A* and challenging to make something out of whatever random batch of stuff is handed to me

I just looked at my flower pot on the desk though and it looks like it's already dying OTL all of the leaves are wilted and the blue flower shriveled up to nothing...

Your posts are not boring IMO, they always make me want to read them for some unexplainable reason XDD

Your first attempt is already pretty. Even my sis agrees that you have the sense of balance and composition needed for ikebana ^^

And oh, how I know the feeling of free samples. My mum got full eating free samples and didn't have to buy dinner when we were in Japan XDDD

And Japanese stuff are expensive cos of government taxes and what not ;A; The weird thing is, there's those goods (called snob goods) which are higher in demand BECAUSE they're expensive (esp branded stuff). Some people in Japan tried to raise demand by lowering the price but sales actually went DOWN. Weird huh? =/

I don't get those buttwash buttons too ;w;

i hope my ikebana will improve ;A; the other ladies there were really really good

the free samples are heaven. I feel bad not buying anything but I can't resist a free feast. They even had okonomiyaki samples for me to shove in my face~

is it really all taxes? ;A; the food in japan isn't expensive but the other stuff is so expensive I wanna cry. Sometimes I see tax written separately and it's a small amount, so is the high base fee really a tax result?

But I guess they really do like expensive stuff, too. I remember one of my business textbooks saying that Japan is the country that buys the most luxury expensive brand goods. They really love brand stuff here since appearance is so important~

the buttwash will forever be a mystery though orz I like having a drybutt.

I'm sure you will, you have the eye for it and the teacher seems to like you a lot XDDD

I felt really bad for not buying anything either, but free samples are indeed heaven ;w;

And I read somewhere about something to do with companies having high base prices because of something to do with the policies there, but I can't remember exactly what OTL Main point is, why so expensive Japan? ;A; (On the other hand, it's funny when they go over to the land of cheap like say China and wonder why their stuff are so cheap rather than wondering why their own stuff are so expensive XD)

I always thought that the buttwash was to accompany the toilet paper, so I got a shock when they told me that it's a substitute for the paper OTL

ep⋅ic  [ep-ik]
-adjective
of unusually great size or extent

hay you're right

i need to remember to take my camera to more places for random stupid pictures :( most of the time i want to take a picture i'm inside of a store, though, wanting a picture of stupid merchandise. Last time I tried to take a picture of stupid merchandise an angry old lady shooed me away.
Last week's Stupid Item was a t-shirt that said in broken english to not run from the wearer because the wearer had been to "hitman school". Said shirt was in the children's section of the store and probably wouldn't fit anyone bigger than a 4th grader ;A(\
