That sounds pretty yummy, though I might try it substituting something for the mayo. Let me think on recipes -- been trying to not eat pre-packaged food, so cooking a lot more, myself.

the mayo is the best part *A* there's something magical about Japanese mayo that makes me think it would be good on or in ANYTHING.

I guess mustard is what people usually use when they don't want mayo, but I think mustard-heavy potato salad is gross. I dunno what a better substitute would be... less mayo, more eggs+more spices+a bit of milk?

I'm still just a beginner. ;o; I've learned a bunch of simple dishes where all I have to do is chop stuff up and mix it together with some kind of bottled substance. It's big progress from where I was a year ago, when I didn't even know how to hold a knife or chop anything and was generally terrified of everything in the kitchen but the microwave. orz

Um, this is something I learned today:

GREENS!

You need:
1) A few leaves of kale, or whatever it's called.
2) Olive oil
3) A half clove of garlic
4) Salt

Instructions:

-Cut the leafy parts of kale into smaller pieces, so that they're like 2 x 2 inches or something similar.

-Cut the stem part of the kale into smaller pieces, somewhere in between the size of your typical chopped up celery and your typical chopped up onions.

-Crush the garlic.

-Heat oil on a pan.

-Throw in garlic and let it sit in there for one minute.

-Put the chopped up stem bits in the oil, and let them cook until they start to lose their color.

-Put the leafy bits in. Cook (preferably with a lid over the pan) until the leaves are nice and soft (just take one out and eat it to check).

-Remove from heat and serve. Preferably with a little salt sprinkled on it. :9

kale! :O I.. I actually don't think I've ever eaten kale before. This sounds like a good opportunity to try it! One thing I have learned from my kitchen experiments is that anything sautéed in garlic will taste good!

Thanks for the recipe~ :D
