"I'm not wearin' it."
"Well, you can't go out wearing that--all our travels, Rose, you'd think by now you'd--"
"I do know, Doctor, and that's fine talk comin' from someone whose excuse is always changed my jumper!" Rose said accusingly, pointing a finger at today's choice (forest green). "I'm not wearing something that looks like the sweater my Great Aunt Tilly knitted for Christmas one year!"
"You could always run naked, Blondie," Jack posited. "Give them a sight they'll apprec--"
He held up his hands at the glares fixed on him by both Rose and the Doctor, both of which were icy enough to freeze Hell over. "Eesh. Just a suggestion."
Rose held the himation as far from her body as possible, the very tips of her fingers grasping the drab grey wool. "These things at least come in other colors, yeah?"
The Doctor wanted to roll his eyes--honestly, they were going to see the first performance of Aristophanes' The Clouds, a play that would be lost to history, and she was quibbling about the color of the wool--but somehow couldn't do it

LOL, I could try! This was actually my first official try at them--much as I love them, my only other experience with writing all three together was a collab fic, and there, my partner handled most of Jack's bits. So this was stretching my wings a bit, and I totally enjoyed it. :D
(BTW - would you mind if I friended you? I realized upon looking at your profile that you were one of the people that expressed interest in my Being Erica/Doctor Who crossover. Still no progress as yet on that front, but I'd love to have you as a friend, if you're willing!)

Sure, go ahead and friend me! Speaking of Being Erica fics, I seriously need to get back to working on the two Erica/Dr. Tom ones I started...
