removable sleeves on waistcoat

I seem to remember seeing a sleeved waistcoat where the sleeves laced on.
I have been through all my book and found in Eighteenth Century Clothing at Williamsburg on page 59 is a waistcoat with eyelets on the shoulder but has lost it's sleeves from 1760-80.

It doesn't mean they don't exist but I've never heard of a waistcoat with sleeves. I wonder if the eyelets are for lacing in a lining (for colder weather?).

Edited: Oh, wait, I just saw your first link. Huh, sleeved waistcoats do exist.

oh yes they do exist! They tended to be more common in the earlier part of the century. I have even ran across one suit that had two waistcoats, one with sleeves, the other without.
If you want to see some sleeved waistcoats, the met has several.
