The mind just decays with age. It's wasteful to say a young mind is worthless.

But of course, humans and Minish age at different rates. I myself am somewhere in my second century.

I agree! Age and maturity aren't the same thing at all!

Even if you aren't under eighteen, it's good that some adults know that, too.

All Minish people are born with a powerful enchantment that makes them invisible to humans. However, children with open minds are capable of seeing through the spell without need of any further magic... Surely that must mean something.

There are a lot of idiots in the world. To be fair, there are a lot of really stupid kids, too, but it's not like it's concentrated to one age group.
