You don't want to do nuclear anyway... that's like 2 more years tacked onto your required 4, if I remember correctly.

Wow... I honestly did not know your seriousness about the Navy. The tone of voice with which you always described it seemed more conditional than certain, so I didn't realize the extent to which you were thinking, planning, and working for it. I'm sorry I underestimated your resolve.

I have a friend who was at the Naval Academy for a year before coming back here to finish her EE degree. (She's the one who stole my phone that day.) If you'd like, I can have her talk with you about what's necessary to prepare for Officer Training and the works.

As for a Masters or PhD, if you plan to make your career in the Navy, then your educational field for the degree(s) can be for your personal (rather than occupational) satisfaction, literally anything that genuinely interests you.

We'll talk more about this when I get back, though; now that I know you mean it, there's a lot more to be discussed!

Wow, that's a big step for you, but good luck! I'm sure with your charisma and determination you'll do amazing in any field. Just be cautious with the military, just because you ask fro a job doesn't mean you'll get the one you wanted.
