You don't want to do nuclear anyway... that's like 2 more years tacked onto your required 4, if I remember correctly.

I have a friend who was at the Naval Academy for a year before coming back here to finish her EE degree. (She's the one who stole my phone that day.) If you'd like, I can have her talk with you about what's necessary to prepare for Officer Training and the works.
As for a Masters or PhD, if you plan to make your career in the Navy, then your educational field for the degree(s) can be for your personal (rather than occupational) satisfaction, literally anything that genuinely interests you.
We'll talk more about this when I get back, though; now that I know you mean it, there's a lot more to be discussed!
