I've been looking around and suggest that you go to needabeta and/or find_me_a_beta to find a beta if you can't get a friend to do it for you.

In terms of links, use the code < a href=http://yourlinkhere >Chapter One< /a > to create links to past chapters. Simply remove the spaces before/after the brackets.
