Since arriving in Chicago, busy is an understatement. But, we arbitrated with the seller on the house, and have it. Thus, does anyone have an Angie's List account I could look up some painters with?
I don't have any advice about painters, I'm afraid.
But I'll bug you next time I'm visiting family. They're in the part of Illinois that isn't Chicago. But I sometimes pass through there on my way to visit.
Also, make sure you get an authentic Italian Beef sandwich sometime. And visiting Culvers might be worth it, too (though, you can feel yourself getting fatter with each trip there). And, if you're especially daring, try to find a horseshoe to eat (I grew up in the land of horseshoes, but I've never eaten one, in my defense).
