But it's this bit that really gets me thinking:

I just have visions of all these little air battles between mini-laser-equipped anti-mosquito drones and well-armed mosquitoes.

No kidding. Love the idea of hand-held anti-mosquito lasers, with the wonderful smoking death visuals; however, with my luck, this would be the new kids game, and would be too good, and frogs would die, or the ecosystem, or something. It does sound like wonderful fun, though....she says guiltily....
