I think it's some kind of Canadian regulation that says you have to have a designated amount of math skills to win a prize.

It's usually something like:

What is 200 + 400 /4 * 50 + 32 = ??

But it's retarded because order of operations doesn't apply. How can they ignore BEDMAS?? haha

Yeah, all drawings in Canada have that requirement. But the skill testing question is only to guage competency I think. I won a couple hundred bucks once (when I was living in Canada) and the question was something like:

(12 + 4 - 6) / 2 = ?

So are there just that many incompetent people in Canada that they don't want to go putting prizes in the hands of morons? And this isn't even sarcasm, I'm truly fascinated by this now.
