I don't think we'll be getting rid of badges per se, as having a badge as a keepsake is important to a lot of people and badges help us see who's an attendee/guest/vendor/minion/staff member quickly, but we have talked about a number of uses for wristbands. So you may see them again. =)
I was sad not to see you there for karaoke. =( Hopefully next time around we'll get a full schedule online. But I am very glad to hear you enjoyed yourself, and I can't wait 'til I get to hear you sing again!
I don't know if we're going to carve pumpkins, but I do know I want to go get one. The cooking club at school made pumpkin cookies yesterday and it totally put me in a fall mood. =)
Considering there were plenty of changes in both the staff and the setup at Tekko 1/2, I'm sure people were a bit nervous as to how things would work out... But from what I've heard from you and other people as well, Tekko 1/2 went great. I hope that things continue that way and Tekko 7 turns out great as well. Well, good luck with other the work you have ahead of you. There's not much of a fall to speak of where I now live in Southern Arizona... the seasons are basically summer, summer, summer, and more summer. But I still manage to enjoy Halloween around here. Even though I'm too old to be trick-or-treating, I always dress up when I hand out candy.
*nods* Halloween is great, with hayrides and corn mazes and pumpkin patches and haunted houses and everything! And after Halloween is over we get THANKSGIVING. Turkey and stuffing and all kinds of yummies NOM NOM NOM I am SO excited.
Thanks for the awesome wishes. Things have changed a bit this year, but looking back, Tekko has always been changing and growing, so I look forward to seeing where this year leads us.
We miss you! Pretty soon we'll be demanding that you send some of your nice warm weather up here, but for now the novelty and fun of the season change hasn't worn off yet. *g* It's awesome that you dress up for Halloween -- I missed most of the trick-or-treaters last year 'cause I worked late but I'm looking forward to handing out candy (and I'm also looking forward to the November 1 Candy Clearance).

BUT.
The building it was housed in, Chelsea Market, is where the Oreo cookie was invented.
God, I have missed the internet. Where else would I learn this stuff?
