The next morning, in the precinct. Pepa was just staring at her computer monitor. She couldn't help but to remember what happened last night. It's like a song stuck in her that she couldn't get rid off. And that's also the reason she barely get some sleep.
"Hey, Ms. Pepa Miranda!" Carmen said while she put down her folder on Pepa's table startling the brunette.
Pepa almost jump at her friends gesture. "Dios, Carmen!" " You almost gave me a heart attack," she said while holding on to her chest.
She couldn't help but laugh. "Don't be ridiculous , Ms. Miranda." "Aren't you're supposed to be working on your reports instead of daydreaming?"
"Yeah, right." And whose fault it is? It should be done by now, if somebody didn't drag me at the damned party last night."
Carmen still smiling on how her friend is so worked up. She knows that there's something else bothering her.
"So are you here to help me or not? Cause if not...you might as well go, so i could concentrate on my work...i"ll appreciate it," Pepa said getting irritated.
"That was harsh. Yes, I'll help you before you bite my head off. So relax, okay! What happened last night, did you enjoy the party?" Carmen said continued to budge in.
Pepa just smiles half-heatedly.
"What!" "Is that all the answer i'm gonna get? Is there something happened last night i'm not aware of? "
"Oh, nothing interesting or rather enjoying really...Silvia just left me on the dance floor, of course you already know about that...you even make a comment as if i'm not there, Pepa said sarcastically." " Then i've got the chance to dance with her... and before Carmen could say something, she held up her hand to stop her." "Don't even ask how did it go. And being so stupid as i am, i kissed her. And the funny thing is...she just left me again," Pepa said enumerating the things that had happened between her and the Redhead.
Carmen is surprised. "You never seemed so interested with Silvia are you?" She said teasingly. "You never been interested in any women before. Much more not even paid attention and not even cared on whatever happens. You always ignored them. So what happened now?" Carmen continued.
"I don't know. Cause i never felt like this before. Is it possible that somebody could make you feel...amuse, furious and wanting so much... all at the same time even if you just met?" Pepa said, with uncertainty showing on her face. "It's just---."
"Honestly, i don't know too. It's just probably an attraction...that you can easily ignored," Carmen reply. She doesn't know if this is the right thing to do. This is the first time she sees Pepa like this. But she doesn't want to encourage her either. She's been friends with Silvia and she sees how in love Silvia is with Lucas."Don't get me wrong you are my friend. Well, knowing Silvia she's been in love with Lucas all her life and it's not gonna change. So it's better just to let it go...before it's too late and get yourself hurt in the end," Carmen said assessing her friend.
"I think you are right, it's just probably an attraction...that you can easily ignored," she said quoting from her friends previous statement. "And as if were still gonna see each other again."The only thing she knew...when she looked at Silvia's lovely brown eyes...she was lost. And she will never be the same again.

Silvia heard a lot of good things about the brunette from Carmen. Every time they are talking on the phone there's no time that she's not in their conversation. If she doesn't know Carmen she would think her and Pepa are together. She's always raving about her. And she sounds like a girlfriend convincing her dad, that her boyfriend is nice. She remember the last time they talk when she called her to ask if she's coming to the party.
"Silviaaaa," Carmen screams when she learn who's on the phone.
"Dios, mio! Carmen you don't need to scream," she said laughing on her friend exaggeration. "Are you coming to the party?"
"Yes we are coming."
"Wait, We? Are you finally bringing your boyfriend?" Silvia said teasing her friend.
"You're not being funny. It's not a boyfriend It's a friend. I'm bringing Pepa with me," she said excitedly. "Remember Pepa----."
"Yes, i do," Silvia answered cutting her friend on about what she has to say. "Of course i remember."
"She's nice. I'm sure you'll get along."
"Am i not that nice and a good friend cause you already find someone to replace me?"
"Hey, Ms. Castro i didn't say any thing like that. Of course you are still my friend. I'm just lucky to have both of you as my friend. That's why i want you to meet her as well."
"I know that, i'm just teasing you."
"Don't worry she's more Lucas competition rather than us. Girls like her and she likes girl."
"Why i should be worried? And must you say that and yeah, right you're friends."
"I'm just saying, it's not like Pepa is not open about it. And i just don't like you wondering when you met her.
"Your crazy. See you at the party then," Silvia said looking forward to see her friend.
But she didn't expect their first meeting was going to be that way. She's surprised when Pepa kissed her but she was more surprised when she answered the kiss. "It's just out of curiosity and that doesn't change a thing about what i'm feeling for Lucas." She thought to herself. "And as if we're going to see each other again"
She really doesn't have a time to contemplate on things that had happened. She's worrying about her father...gone missing.
