I just didn't find any true joy in the movie. The racism hit me real hard. Plus, the pinguin seems quite depressed. The ending was horrible to me... I felt like the makers of the movie tried to add the last hope they had for mankind, but hey didn't believed in the good of mankind anyway, but they didn't wanted to leave the children feeling too bad. I did liked the dancing, but that was the only semi-joyful thing that happened in the movie for me.
Amélie, I'm feeling that. Little Miss Sunshine is bittersweet to me. It's all about letting go of the pressure to conform and doing what YOU think is good, not what society approves. I think that's the message - if you get to that point, you're getting anywhere. It was a relief to watch. And rewatch. And rewatch.
I don't like Happy Feet. I didn't end nice and I couldn't laugh about it at all. I don't know, everyone loves is so I had high expectations, but I seriously don't think I ever feel like watching it again.

I also considered Amélie and Little Miss Sunshine for this one.
