hey ash, i know that things are kinda weird between us, but i see that you're going through a hard time and i thought i would tell you what my grandmother told me yesterday.

marriage is something that doesn't change anything but your name. it doesn't change who you are, or who they are. you might change together, but only in small amounts. things that seemed important at first, don't seem that important later on in the relationship. and the blame isn't important. what's important is your happiness and your children's happiness, because no matter what blood is thicker than water.
