Congrats--sounds like you definitely made the right decision for yourselves!

Does Sean have to take another bar exam in order to be able to practice in Saskatchewan? How does that work?

No, I don't need to redo the bar exam. I'll need to refamiliarize myself with the laws there (I articled there two years ago, so it shouldn't be that hard) and sign a declaration saying that I understand the law well enough not to be incompetent. They've recently changed the rules around mobility for lawyers in Canada.

That's great that they've made it easier for people to move around! It'd be a major drag to have to take another bunch of tedious exams and sit out of work fo a while.

It's not a problem. MM had me registered as a "pack mule" when we moved into our place. I believe that registration, like a passport, lasts for 5 years.
