1) I'm wondering what the image is above the couch... It kind of makes me giggle. Also wondering if they enjoy to role play "knight and farm wench" as per their bedroom wall tapestry. I didn't know you could still get "tapestries".
2) Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that price not (*ahem*) SUBSTANTIALLY more than you paid for your own sweet home? I mean, maybe you should be thinking of moving NOW if you could get that... Fo reals?!

1) Yeah, at first I thought it was maybe a picture of their son, but I've only ever seen a daughter over there....and they are ver old...I'd prefer not to think of them playing knight & farm wench...although I'm sure they'd be talking loudly in French while they did it. That's the way they work.

2)Um, yeahs, but they have a finished basement (adding quite a bit) and a fireplace, and air conditioning and central vac...all things we do not have, which takes our cost down quite a bit. I think they're aiming high b/c it's comfree, and they'll probably go down quite a bit. But...even at 60,000 less it's a crazy bonus for us. If we sell in spring though, we'll do much better.

funny thing... I was also going to make some comment about the lovely tapestry. Alas, woe is me...(I am trying to speak medieval-like... as per our farm wench and knight theme). I suppose I am left to comment on the large copper plate sitting in the fireplace. Aren't you supposed to hide things like that if you are trying to sell a house?
