I feel bad that your dad was on a bus when his mom passed away. this week my 91 year old volunteer told me the story of when her husband died (they would have been married 70 years on Wednesday) he had given her a squeeze just as she was about to get out of bed for the day and when she came to wake him for breakfast he was gone. death is sad and/but it can bring families together in special ways. i hope the time with your extended family has been special. my sympathies to you.
