i dunno.... i think if i were an art student i wouldnt be able to afford any of that stuff :/ make due with what you have, because in comparison to me you are pretty blessed lol there's no point in worrying whether or not what you have "isnt good enough" as long as it gets the job done efficiently :)

I don't know. I guess I'm just sensitive whenever I'm around snobs. I don't want to be surrounded by college art snobs who will make me feel bad about myself. I don't know that anyone will actually BE that way, but I'm still scared about it. XD

Here's a good analogy for you. Lots of people have really high end digital cameras that costed them hundreds-thoudands of dollars. Doesn't make them good photographers. I have more respect for someone who bought a 35mm camera for $20 at a second hand store, and actually knows how to WORK the damn thing, than I do for someone who has a really snazzy piece of equipment and just goes around shooting whatever and has really crappy composition ;) I think if a person can minipulate a picture on film, before manipulating it on the computer, then they are a far superior artist. It's all about intuition.
