step into my pallor

I got Mazda-kargyraa working. It's easier to use et_aliae's gurgling style than the sound I usually make but it's harder on the throat. When I've got my tongue in the right place, there's a resonance party in my mouth with only certain harmonics invited. I don't have much of a range yet, almost got the fast OOEEOOEEOOEE thing working though. Can't really explain my fascination with Throat Singing, there are very few beautiful songs, and even fewer non-traditional ones. "Idiot!", I hear the man-on-the-street exclaim. "Pretentious!", "Wrong!", "What is this crap?", chime newspapers across the land. It's been a long time coming, man of wealth and taste that I am, but maybe I'm finally beginning to appreciate the technical side of things. I shall dabble in all things world music, much like the chamois of the Alps leaping from crag to crag. Hey, someday I'll actually like Opera and Carnatic music...

Found out recently that there's going to be a V for Vendetta (<- spoiler warning) movie. Alan Moore's distanced himself from the production probably turning it into another League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen fiasco; but the Wachowski Brothers, whatever their faults may be, know SuperCool. The trailer looks spectacular, I'd really like to see how dystopian they can make it. Agent Smith could make a good V, but if they reveal his identity as Evey's father or something similarly stupid or at all, I'm going to punch the guy next to me in the head.

Mood tags are stupid. And just to be difficult, I refuse to be compartmentalized into lj approved moods.
