I'm not dead...just had to go out of town for work. Destination: Portland, OR. Home to crunchy hippies, an amazing food scene, and POWELL'S MOTHERFUCKING BOOKS. If you couldn't tell, I like books. A lot.

I wanted one of everything on their menu.....they have an apple fritter that's the size of a dinner plate!!! The bacon maple bar really is my fave though...
