Nah a dj at a club I go to on thursdays mixed it with some industrial. I didnt think to ask him.

Much later I got into a discussion about wether or not it was michael jackson. I knew it wasnt him, err well he does backing vocals on the chorus, but its not his song...

i don't know if i'm proud or embarassed that i have the 45 of this track. one side is the song, the other is the INSTRUMENTAL version!

Those releases with instrumental versions are gold for remixers. There is a trick to isolate vocal tracks, and you use the instrumental version to do it.

Basically you overlay the instrumental onto the original in a program like sound forge, and then invert the instrumental waveform and paste it into the original. Its magic, the inverted wave erases only the music leaving the vocals.
