Nothing wrong with making it friends only. It helps with keeping the "OMG YOU SAID THAT" drama crap down. Making my lj friends only has worked pretty well for me in respect to the drama department, and the weird fanboys making their "Anonymous" posts. (Yes I had them when I first got my suit.) :P
