Its snowing. In Texas. A lot- for Texas, anyway.
We got out of school early today, and tomorrow is cancelled. Right now, some of you northerners are probably rolling your eyes at how our entire community shuts down for ~2 feet of snow.
The thing is, you have no idea how stupid people are with snow and ice when they're not used to it. We had two major accidents just in the morning hours alone on our city's busiest street. People around here seem to have trouble using their human problem solving skills when it involves automobiles and ice. In addition, our roads aren't built to be iced in the first place. Its just difficult to get around without killing yourself or someone else. Hence, school cancellations and what not.
Sadie, the Great Pyrenees, does not understand the snow. It's okay, I don't either.
She likes it though. In the genes I guess.
I took Sadie for a walk. I've only bothered training her on the lead, not the others. The two might kill me if I took them out in the ice, honestly.
We got a ton of snow for north Texas. Probably the most since I've moved here.
A shot of the water tower and some recreational buildings in the nearby park. My mom always complains about being so close to the water tower (we can always see it), but you barely notice it after a while.
