Jen and I are going on a date. This doesn’t happen as often as I'd like. It's just wonderful when we can make time for it and enjoy ourselves.

I haven't been doing much other than school. The geek house has been quiet lately. I am getting excited about when Bogo and my two new polish roommates get here. If they come at the same time as last year it will be late June when that happens. I was about to warm up some baked beans and it just died. I put the beans in, set the time press start, and everything in the microwave went dark. I think I want to turn it into a computer now. I have finish a paper today but I have no motivation. Except for the lack of motivation to write boring papers, school is going well. I seem to be picking up on the fundamentals in my electronics class. Waveforms are going to be a bit tricky. I need to take trig in the fall so I have a better grasp on the math ( Read more... )

I've been at school all day today. I waited too long to register for class. I have six hours of classes and five hours in between them. I guess it works out. My english class is going to be very challenging so that will leave plenty of time to work in the writing lab with some faculty tutors. I'm more productive at campus then i am at home anyway. I just noticed this on the Canadian ten dollar bill. Instead of having "In God We Trust", some cryptic phrase in Latin, or the Masonic pyramid with the eye printed on their currency. It says "In The Service Of Peace" in both English and French across the top of a globe. It also has this poem on it ( Read more... )

I've been taking care of errands today. Drove up to the Blackhawk casinos and picked up a bunch of applications. I going to try and be a technician and fix slot machines. I need to pick my classes tonight so I can know my availability. I figure by about April or May I'll be ready to go back to my old job. We'll see how it plays out.

I been kind of busy but that isn't a good excuse. I'm going to be less lazy and post more; even if it's just about what I ate for dinner.

I'm going to Aurora to paint my Mom's other house.
