The view from Haleakala

So, since we are intrepid tourists, we braved the windy switchbacks and drove up the 10,000 feet to the top of Haleakala, the larger of the two dormant volcanos that make up Maui. I figured I should share the vista with you all.

the more i look at it, the less i can believe the curtains aren't drawn. really, that just looks so solidly white. maybe the volcano was encased in marshmallow?
