Birthdays and other Musings

So, my birthday came and went with out much fanfare, which was kinda nice, and now I can say that I am 28 years old. That means that I am almost 30!!!!! Such and interestesting thing when you think about it really. It's like the beginning of middle age but I don't feel like i'm in the middle yet or even the beginning of the middle. Someone once

My family tried singing to me in the early hours of my birthday, once. It was some year during my cranky teenage years, and I got all cranky at them. They learned their lesson...Happy birthday! Glad it went well.
