Like Parfaits? While the typical parfait may just be a slender glass with layers of fruit, syrup, ice cream or yogurt (maybe some whipped cream), that just seems so limiting... And so small... So if you get to Japan, check out Fruit Parlor Colombia in Osaka! Kensaku Yamada (who started Fruit Parlor Colombia) started making jumbo parfaits 10 years ago... Three years ago they introduced the Mount Fuji - the largest parfait in Japan... The next year they unveiled the Everest - the biggest parfait in the world... Now they've topped that with the Space Walk - made in the image of a rocket bursting through clouds and claimed to be the biggest parfait in outer space... And it might be - it weights over 23 kilograms (about 50 pounds), serves 50, and includes among the ingredients each item the cafe uses for every dish on its menu, including pineapple, cantaloupe, strawberries, oranges, cakes, chou cream and crepes!!! I kinda meant the biggest ones we can find around here, but uh...that could...work. As long as you don't plan to order that Space Walk thing. I know I said biggest we can find, but I know I can't eat enough for 25 people.
