A breadmaker is you!

I've just put my first ever mix into the new breadmaker.  I've never done used it before.  DW has made a couple of loaves of herb-bread that came out really yummy but this is my first try of using the machine.  In the past I've tried to make my own bread old-school (read: manually) but it turned out VERY heavy and doughy.

I still make bread by hand on a weekly basis. Any idea why you were ending up with small windowless buildings?

Umm - I suspect not enough flour in the mix. It was my first attempt and I had no tuition from a more learned person.

Ah, there we go. It does take a bit of practice. If I'm ever in Hamilton again I'd be happy to go through the process with you.
