I finally got to lead a horse up at the races yesterday, at Sandown Park. It's a bit weird walking round in circles with thousands of people staring at you, except I wasn't really walking, more being dragged. The horse that broke my wrist won a race - I'm so proud of her :)

I may now also have a broken toe...

I had steak for dinner - yummmmmm.

...I got a card and £50 from the owners of the horse I fell off.

...I listened to an 86 year old man's theories on illicit love affairs between my work colleagues and how us "youngsters" these days jump into bed with everybody we meet.

He did it - my baby won!!! For "my baby" read "the horse I happen to ride on Saturdays" - I think of him as my baby. I felt a bit weird going into the betting shop to watch, although I was with my dad (we made a profit ;) ). I felt like a proud parent lol.
