Vinyl saved from pseudo obscurity; Return to The Simpsons

I've been digitizing my vinyl collection like crazy.  All of the tracks end up on my iPod, but I eventually burn them to CD for posterity.  So far, I've digitized the following:

The Anna Russell Album? (a great satirist with advice for the classical singer...her Ring analysis is a hoot)
Cabaret (Film Soundtrack...ok...you can point and laugh)
Carmen ( ( Read more... )

simpsons, lps

Anna Russell's Ring is classic. My personal favorite is her "How to Make Your Own Gibert and Sullivan" operetta.

Yikes...that would be "How to Make Your Own Gilbert and Sullivan Operetta". Sheesh! I can tell I just woke up.

I too have found a fondness for the Simpsons, I wasn't allowed to watch it as a child and I must say, I'm crazy addicted now. That and Scrubs, love scrubs. Yeah so I have all of those albums, also on vinyl, post others so I know if I want any (that's right it's all about me :) ) I still listen to them on vinyl, I actually think it is better. I have an AC DC album that doesn't sound right if it is not on vinyl. Sad me.
