For someone who I followed through his magazines, he never did seem to get as much public recognition as he deserved in the few TV apprearances/tours of his collection that I have seen over the years.

Well composed narrative and insightful references, as I can take some pride in being an honorary lesbian too through a chain of circumstances and the friendships that resulted from them growing up in New Orleans.

Uh, Joe, I am sending you so very many hugs right now.

I didn't know anything about this guy and I think he sounds like a really friendly guy and his enthusiasm is still tangiable.

Amen. We were able to make it to the wake and it was a great experience. I never met Forry, but was a Monster Kid at heart and could definitely relate to the sentiments expressed and of course the movies. It was a great bonding experience for us weirdos, and a chance to honor an adult who didn't tell us we had to grow up and act "normal" for once. One of the speakers said something like, "Remember when you're choosing people for sports teams to make sure a Monster Kid doesn't get picked last." I liked that.

Great story, Joe. Beck
