This is the way I see it and how it's really like in the job market.. in this day in age it doesn't matter what you went to school for or what kind of degree you have you're lucky to get a job in that field. Plus with the way the economy is people take anything they can get. Getting a paycheck is way better than nothing.

Now with the weight.. I know all too well how weight can be an issue. I'm about the same as you and I have a hard time fitting into certain clothes too. I think you should not only do it for you but do it the way you want without any outside help. As long as you're happy with your body and you're healthy that's all that should matter.
