I think I'm crazy jealous. Another group of my friends are getting married and having babies. I'm just doing school and filing or job applications. I feel like I started my life all late, but maybe this timeline works for me? I don't know. I never thought I'd want that though. I saw the disaster that was my stepdad and mom's marriage. I've babysat

Marriage and baby fever always hits when your friends are doing it. You feel left out almost like it's some kind of club to belong to. Marriage and kids aren't for everyone but at the same time no two people are the same. Just cuz things didn't work out for your mom doesn't mean it wouldn't work for you BUT.. it's not something to rush into. Both are HUGE steps that really need to be thought about.

I was 22 when I got married but I knew that was something I wanted. I was in love (still am obviously) and it was right for both of us. We also lived together before we got married.. for a couple of reasons. To make sure we could actually live together without killing each other & to make sure I wouldn't get homesick for being so far away. The last part being my mom's reason for letting us live together. I knew I'd be fine but of course no one else believed me.

Make sure it's something you truly want before jumping in with both feet. I don't want you to regret it later on.
