So I feel like mother nature really likes us. When we first moved to Ashburn, VA, that winter was the most snow they'd seen in years. Most people die in flooded streets because they never follow one simple rule. 'Turn around, don't drown'. It's insane how they think they can just go right through the water like it's nothing.

I know! I honestly had never heard of that saying until I got here, but my role of thumb is to not drive through high waters.

I've been hearing that phrase for years. Our local weathermen say it all the time. Some listen, some don't.
