[Background]

[Personality]
Howard is very dedicated to his work and takes risks others won't. He tries to think outside of the box and push himself harder to achieve his goals. In his mind, his work in the scientific field is the most important thing in life. It sometimes leads to failure (i.e. Flying prototype car in Captain America: TFA), but failure does not faze him. Instead of dwelling on why things went wrong, he simply moves forward. Failure only encourages him to keep trying. Not only is his work important to him, he is also very good at what he does. His knowledge and skills prove to be invaluable to the Allies during World War II.

Howard is also very dedicated to his friends. He's willing to help them no matter the cost. When asked by Peggy Carter to fly Steve Rogers to a remote Hydra Base, he does so even though he is risking his job and his life. Also, at the end of Captain America: TFA, he continues searching for Steve even when all signs point to him being dead. He doesn't want to leave his friend in the icy depths of the Arctic Ocean.

Unfortunately for him, his strengths leads to many of weaknesses. His dedication to his work often gets in the way of his relationships with others and his ability to express his feelings. The relationship he has with his son later in life is distant and cold. He pushes Tony too hard at times and never expresses his love for him. It's not that he doesn't care, but since he has very high expectations for himself, he also has very high expectations for others. Also, despite having a high level of intelligence, he doesn't really understand much about the opposite sex (and doesn't attempt to understand). In Captain America, he tells Steve that even if you think you understand what's going on inside of a woman's mind, you really don't. He sees women more as objects of desire and that leads him to become a ladies man. Howard simply cannot say no to a pretty lady. Finally, he can be bit brash at times and not realize it. He acts and speaks without really thinking about how it will affect others. It's his way of being charming, but usually it ends in disaster.

[Specialties/Abilities]
Unless his above average intelligence counts, he really doesn't have any special abilities or powers.

[Affection] Any from the ladies of course~ He'll eagerly return those affections.

[Fighting] Not really a fighter. He'll try to avoid fighting unless he has to defend himself.

[Other Permissions]
Anything goes.

[Other Facts]
He likes fondue.
