Honestly, though. If it's a breakfast cake, you should either do coffee flavored frosting, or something fruity like banana.
OR you could decorate the cake with those little marshmellows that come in Lucky Charms.

I'm having coffee on the side. I wonder if coffee frosting would be overkill.

I should try that frosting again. I hated it as a kid, but I also hated guacamole back then.

Ewwww. I don't like using whole wheat flour for baking sweet things. The kind I find at Loblaws and Superstore is never whole grain, either.
