I'm trying to find a pumpkin patch to visit. I never did as a kid. It's kind of funny to think about, because I can imagine my immigrant parents wondering why I would want to go all the way out to the country when I could get one up the road at the grocery store

That's insanity! I went to one last weekend, and it was free, plus the pumpkins were significantly cheaper than at the store.

Admission to a pumpkin patch? They want to charge you $16 per person for the privilege of tromping around a sloppy poop field? That's absurd. I would tell them to shove a pumpkin up their butts.

The place I go to to apple pick and whatnot doesn't charge for anything other than what you purchase. Unless you do a pony ride or something and that was $3. They have a petting zoo, a little playground, and a farm market & restaurant.
