i have to say that today was an unexpectedly nice day...it ended really well.

before going out with mr. b i read online that exactly on valentine's day almost 1/2 of dating couples break up due to pressure. is that true?  it's either the pressure from high expectations or the the comparing of commercialized love to reality that causes the demise ( Read more... )

yeah - I think that no matter how diplomatic and "real" you try to be there is always that girly/romantic side expecting/wishing/hoping for something special. But I hope you got it - in one form or another!

yeah it was a really nice day. i think mostly because we got to spend some alone time together which hasn't happened a lot since he started his new job.

how was your valentine's day? i hope that it was wonderful...

definitely am going to work on a long letter/email for you soon!

I agree...gals will always have some form of expectation on Valentine's Day, even though we tell our significant others that they don't have to do anything. We like to be pampered as part of our nature. =)

and it's nice to see them all googly and mooshy and on their best behavior as they were on that first date.

hey chibi! sorry to be MIA for a while! you looked so good in the tet celebration pictures by the way! hubba-hubba! i'm currently still on the job hunt and have even interviewed at jane's place. she let me know of an opening for "office services coordinator" where i'd be filling up the printer paper, passing out mail, and ordering lunch! heehee! also, interviewed at a destination management company for a job planning vacations for large companies on the mainland! i'm still trying to chase my loose end of the rainbow as you can see... i don't know if lauren told you yet but she got an interview with the JET! i'm happy for her. but yuck,i didn't get one, fooey ( ... )

i've never heard of hiroshi's eurasian tapas and bar. i wouldn't mind going there to try it out. i can't believe you remembered the menu, and they all sound so ono. that hamachi w/fried ume rice ball sounds interesting...actually just the rice ball.

as for the internship, i'm still waiting for them to get back to me. i've also applied to walgreens in vegas as my other option. i asked taryn if i could live with her if i do get a job up there. i really want a job in hawaii though. *crosses fingers*
