OD for Cheerios

I can't say enough about cereal. Sometimes it is just the bestest thing in the world. A little bit of milk and some raisin bran with Honey Nut Cheerios and youre set for the entire day. My brother likes to get out a huge tupperware bowl and fill it up. I'm more of a go back for seconds and thirds kind of gal. Hah! And yes, I do mix it up.

I have to say that it's Life for me, but Honey Nut Cheerios are up there, too. Life is my absolute favorite but strangely I don't like it so much in the morning. But as far as dessert after dinner or a midnight snack, it's perfection!

I also don't do cereal for breakfast. It's great on a hot day
or as a comfort food when nobody's around but you and telly. I'm a musher too: pour the milk over and wait about 5 minutes until everything gets all soggy. The best is when youre at the end of the cereal bag and have all these bits. Imagine that with milk and you've got a pretty rockin porridge--shredded frosted mini wheats makes this dish just heavenly...

i always eat poptarts in the morning. i'm always on the run so i don't get to enjoy my breakfasts. whenever i do eat cereal, it's always in a ziplock bag (minus the milk b/c i'm lactose intolerant) as a morning snack to munch on during class or break. i also love to eat honey nut cheerios, along with corn puffs, cocoa puffs, honey combs, etc.

Oooh cocoa puffs, honey combs youre talking my language! You're mix of cereal reminds me of those snack mixes they make around Christmas time. You know the chex mix with peanuts and pretzels. Some people make it garlicky with worcestershire sauce. I've seen some people coat chex mix with melted peanut butter and then melted chocolate and then powdered sugar. It's sooooo good! Ok when you get back it's fondue and diabetic chex mix!

i just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE (can you not tell that i absolutely LOVE) chex mixes around christmas. i always buy the sweet ones or the furikake mix b/c they're so ONO. it's sad that i can't make it cuz i always end up buying them at craft fairs instead. you know, ive never tried the melted peanut butter/choco/sugar chex mix before. WE HAVE GOT TO GET SOME WHEN I GET BACK!! ooh, you're my eating buddy now. lol. remember, we've still got to go back to that cute little bible place for some chowder. yummy! i'll remind you around the time i get back to get the menu for december so we can go when they have chowder. *drools like homer simpson*
