I was crossing a street, and there was a curve with traffic in the direction of me, but I didn't see anyone coming, and I got about half way across and this guy hit my car.

I think the guy was doing something he shouldn't have while driving, because, I didn't hear brakes until right as he hit me, usually you kind of hear them beforehand.
