They're release a movie soon glorifying the United States' courage at the battle of the Alamo despite the defeat. Another prime example of using the media as the government's mouthpiece to try to boost U.S. moral. or maybe it's due to the fact that Pearl Harbor was a major box office hit. I think money had more influence in this than any goverment official.

yeah, but the point is that it is movies like these that continue to allow americans to believe the lie that we live in some great moral america even though we have bee a huge force of corruption just like any other communist nation. we just are a little smarter at hiding these details from the general public.

Yeah, especially with our right to criticize the government with out persecution, and our ability to make pretty much anything we want out of our lives. We are nothing like a communist nation. That was a really bad comparison. Seeing as Communism has been America's biggest fear for the past 50 years. Sorry, our country ,like any other, has made mistakes, but I do believe this country is doing more good than bad in the world.

i do agree it must be doing a good job for being in a better economical stance as compared to the rest of the world. surprisingly there are laws that were passed during wourld war one that allows speech that "poses a clear and present danger" towards the government is a crime, which is now known as the Homeland Security Act
