Mother of the Year Award

I work in a nice bookstore, with a ginormous children's department. We tend to have one staff person down there at all times, but they get called out onto the main bookfloor quite often to answer phones or ring register. We are not a babysitting service; we have DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN UNATTENDED signs.

Was the mom blame-filled or did she accept that she should not have done what she did?

I'd say that parents are dumb, but the kids are stupid, too. I guess we should just say 'customers are idiots.' That way nobody gets left out.

I hope you're looking for Meg, from PA, who now lives in Cleveland, and loved, LOVED, LOVED your posts, and used to leave you random comments, and prayed every day for your madre (I believe she was the one who was ill??) and missed you and always wondered, "Hmm, I wonder how tshell is...".

And if you're not looking for me, well, just know some random girl on LJ missed you a lot.
