i just returned from a bookstore excursion to find a small potted plant set outside my door. my room is unlabeled and i don't know anybody, so i'm unsure who it's from, or even if it's for me. i hope it's not for me, because well-intentioned gifts from strangers make me vastly uncomfortable.
