Earlier today.  My youngest son was admitted to the hospital this morning (like, early this morning) for a chest infection.  I said thank you to the nurse that brought me an extra pillow and blanket while we were waiting for a room to open up for him.

What a minute.  That sounds bad.

I paid the co-pay for the prescription.  So technically I did buy.  Kinda.  

Mmm.  Enough.  From Darren's non-insurance covered medical costs (which are most of them) the total is about $320,000 to date.  The non-insurance covered costs from JT the bottom line is only marginally better to the tune of about $200,000.  Figure in our mortgage and that's another $160,000.  Those are the major things I can come up with at this ( Read more... )
