As an idea, Blue Bloods and its follow-up, Masquerade, are interesting. When I think of vampires, I'll admit that I bring in the idea of Roanoke Colony on occasion. The concept of her vampires - the resurrection, the flashbacks, the overall process - is great. But to me, there's something wrong with the books. I can't quite place my finger on

I did read Blue Bloods. I still kinda feel as though there is something missing from the whole thing. Like maybe there's a tie somewhere that isn't connected yet. But I'm not entirely giving up hope.

As for Twilight, I'm surprised to say I'm hooked. Leave it to me to become fascinated with a stalking vampire and his too-perfect-to-be-believed human girlfriend.
