Seasons may change...

I know I’ve blogged about this exact topic before, but this time of year, the light takes on a certain kind of quality. It’s still clearly summer, the sky is bright blue and the sun is intense, but the light takes on a kind of golden quality that lets you know that fall is coming. It’s the kind of light that makes you remember things, even silly ( Read more... )

Wow, where do I start!

I love the light that autumn brings - you described the feeling wonderfully. There's something about it that makes you nostalgic and reminiscent. It's always a really magical feeling time in general and I absolutely love it.

I used to go to work with my parents!! xDD They'd stick my playpen up in their cubicle. Obviously, I was too young then to do anything fun like spin on chairs or watch X-files xDD

Not to mention, everyone at my school did the same. "South Side? Downtown? Bloomfield? Where's that?" ><;; Now they're all into it because of the partying. Pittsburgh is such a trove of wonderful things and I feel sorry for all the people who don't take the time to find it all.

I'm stopping here because I could talk about Pittsburgh or autumn or nostalgia forever and ever and ever xDD

Yeah, jobs have an uncanny way of depredating the day.

As far as Monongahela... Where do people go for fun here? I've lived five minutes away from Mon City the majority of my life and from what I can tell people basically just hang out at Sheetz or Eat N Park.

I think I miss the comic store.

There is no fun in Mon City, to such a degree most people end up pregnant, hospitalized, or dead.

I think the dead ones are the happiest.

Honest to god, I hate that place and hope it and all the rednecks burn to the ground.

And its even worse now that Main St is closed off and I need to go through Monongahela to commute to my new job. The early morning going to work isnt bad, but coming home when I hit mon city... well, a 4 minute drive has become a 20 minute stalemate
