i would also suggest talking to a lawyer and asking if you can give them the bill to have the bed bugs treated by someone who knows what they are doing. We got them in one room of the hotel once and treated them one time to kill them off. They didn't have to toss the couch only the mattress. If you do stop paying rent to them put the money in an escrow account so the court can see that you had the money and refused to pay for lack of services.
