Gwangchul looked through the rows of students looking at him with this blank stare a person got when he was on the verge to fall asleep but had at least to pretend to be interested in what he got told. He liked to call this zombie mode to himself somehow he needed to make fun of this situation to prevent himself from starting to cry because he was supposed to teach these little bastards something.

A girl right in front of him had been drawing a picture of her favourite singer for the last fifteen minutes and was now coloring it in only pink and violet. And sadly the rest of the class wasn't paying more attention to him most just looking outside or at the clock. Sighing he lowered the book he had been reading from and looked at them.

Then he too caught himself looking at his watch. It were still fifteen minutes until the bell would signal the end of the last lesson before Christmas holidays. He knew all these kids wanted to go home, spend time with their family, well probably with their TV’s or computers in their own rooms, but he liked the idea of at least celebrating with his family on this day better. Still, he was their teacher and until he wasn’t anymore, which would be in twelve minutes now, he had to look after them and try to teach something to them.

„Why did you stop talking?“ A soft voice from the last row asked, his view wandered to the owner and he looked the not gazy eyes from Jeon Jihwan. Happiness filled him until he realised the boy would be as uninterested as the rest if it wasn't for him being their teacher but at least Jihwan’s talking got his neighbour starting to move even just to look at him like he was mad or something..

„I'm sorry. I think I got distracted, not only the students are waiting for the holidays to start.“ He laughed waiting for anyone to get his joke but his zombie students just shifted, only Jihwan was grinning at him which was the last thing he saw before he lifted his book up again to finish the story he had read.

He had just finished the last sentence, when the bell rang and his, formerly nearly brain dead students, sprung back to life and picked up their coats and bags and left the classroom within one minute. This phenomenon always amazed him the most he knew he had been like this, not too long ago, but it was a completely different feeling to see it from the eyes of a teacher.

Gwangchul decided it was time for him to leave as well and was packing his own bag when he heared Jihwans voice again. „Why do you want the holidays to begin, Mr. Shin?“ He looked up and saw the boy leaning against the table of the drawing girl, looking at the picture, she had forgotten in her haze to leave as fast as possible, interested then his eyes wandered up and met Gwangchul’s.

„Well Jihwan. I can use some time alone as well as you all can. And I have a few books I want to read.“ On this the boy send him an unreadable gaze, but Gwanchul decided to ignore it. „I want to go and see my family again as well. Why are you asking?“

Jihwan smiled. „Because I'm interested in you, Mr. Shin. In your life besides school and us being your students.“ Gwangchul had finished packing his bag and lifted it up waiting for Jihwan to follow him out of the room. The boy pushed himself up and got to Gwangchul’s side. „Well then, have good holidays and a happy new year.“

He smiled warmly at the younger boy. „You too, Jihwan and don't party too hard, will you promise me?“ Jihwan just laughed as he skitted to catch the subway home. Gwangchul watched his ass until he reminded himself that he was still in school and some overly protective colleague could see him eye molesting his student.

If only they knew.

Gwangchul was going crazy. He was sure. It had been three days since the holidays began and all he wanted was to go back to school, where he could see him at least on a daily basis, even though it made meeting harder, at least they met.

He knew that normally he was the one telling him he was too clingy and people would notice, but he had neither called or even texted Gwangchul in the last three days. A short message was all he was asking for, something like ‘Hey I decided to ditch my family in order to stay at home with you for fourteen days straight.’

Telling himself he just needed something else to concentrate on, Gwangchul turned on the TV, but all he found was boring talk shows and the rerun of a drama they had watched together, talking over the phone, making fun about bad worked out plots and even worse acting skills.

„So you think you could write better dramas than that?“ He had asked laughing.

„Sure even an ape could write better than that.“ Gwangchul had answered writing the grade on one of the classtests he was correcting while watching the series. „Suhoon has a D tell him to learn more, he could do so much better than that.“ He knew that wouldn’t happen, because not even his friends were supposed to know their secret, but it was a fun topic to talk about.

„Tell him yourself he won't listen to me and I think all he can think about is his boyfriend’s big, hard, erected penis.“

Holding back the gagging reflex he looked at the next test and decided to grade Hyunmin’s work later, when he had removed these pictures from his head. „See, adjectives, if you want, you can use them why are there none in your work?“

„Oh oh this scene is important, I suppose. Let's watch it in silence.“

Gwangchul laughed so hard that he wasn’t able to write anymore, instead drawing a long line over half of the sheet. He gave the boy a better grade and no one talked about it anymore.

Shaking his head he got up again. He really needed to concentrate on something else, but he had already read through all tests he had collected, to have something to do over the holidays. Also had he finished two books and began a third one when he decided that reading would drive him insane as well.

He had just decided to do some grocery shopping when his doorbell rang. Instantly hoping that it wasn't his really pretty and very interested in him neighbour again, sporting nothing than a very see through dress, he opened the door just to have an armful of Jihwan in the next moment.

„Damn, I missed you, but my fucking parents wouldn’t let me out of your fucking house. But now I'm here and I'm never going back.“ Gwangchul didn't answer right away he just took in Jihwan’s breath and closed his eyes happily before looked at the smaller boy accusingly.

„But you had time to talk to Mika.“ Jihwan pouted. „Sure my parents told me to ask him over because he has no family to celebrate with bla bla. And I have a boyfriend I would like to celebrate Christmas with, fuckers.“

Loosening his hug Jihwan began walking into bedroom, stripping from his shirt on his way there and already undoing his bow tie as well. „What did you do in the last days. I hope you haven't masturbated too much to have at least ten rounds of sex tonight. I had to listen to Mika, telling me every position he and Hyunmin tried last weekend.“ He couldn't see the boy anymore, but he hurried after him when he saw a pair of boxers flying through the still open door.

Stopping a short moment before he entered the room, he looked at the red haired boy lying naked on his bed and holding his hands out to him. He was surely going to hell for this, but how could you say no to this?

Crawling onto his, bed he kissed Jihwan deeply. „Merry Chirstmas, Gwangchul.“ The boy said after they had to break the kiss to get some air into their lungs. His slender arms slung around Gwangchul’s neck. „I love you.“
