They all suck.

They all just suck differently. :)

I've been with Network Solutions since it wad the only game in town.

I've dealt with other registrars (mostly their management interfaces) and none of them are quite as nice as NetSol's. Mostly because they're filled with ads of all sorts. Blinking ads.

NetSol is more expensive...

Lots of people use GoDaddy and they don't seem all that bad (except for those ads and poorly designed UI... I can hardly tell when I'm logged in to manage stuff).

Just stay away from APlus (as a host or registrar). They suck more than all the others combined.

I'm pretty dead-set against NetSol for reasons relating to their shitty business practices. :P

I agree w/ AA above -- I use GoDaddy for 90% of my domains. I haven't had any problems with them, and their online tools (albeit having really busy menus) are pretty impressive ( ... )

I agree on avoiding Netsol based on deceptive business practices and just plain being evil.

I usually recommend GoDaddy to my clients simply be cause they're the biggest, and havent yet exhibited evil behavior. Good prices. And they're fully automated. I recently had a hell of a time moving a client from a small registrar, where everything basically had to be done manually.

And you saw what happened with Registerfly where I had all my stuff previously.

Now I shifted it all over to enom. (enomcentral.com) They picked up most of my registrations after the registerfly thing happened. And after godaddy didn't make my life easier, I simply went with enom. They don't seem particularly interested in selling to individuals, but they will. And the interface is clean and works. No probems yet.
