Sorry to intrude, but...anais2February 26 2003, 14:56:07 UTC
I notice that we are the only two who have listed "Harold Norse" as an interest. Hmmm, I thought. He is my friend, and I must see who reads him. Imagine my surprise to find a girl... with 51 tank tops! Well, anyway, my curiosity got the best of me....how did you first become acquainted with his work? And what did you find in it to become interested? Surely not from school? What are your favorites poems by him?

it actually was from school. a poetry class in college. we had a book with a bunch of different poems, and there were two of his. i liked the two i read, and looked for more online. i could only find a few and very little information on him. we had to do a report on a poet and i wanted to do it on him, but could not find enough information. so i have only read a few of his poems, but really liked them. the one i really like is 'im not a man' i just like his style and so fourth. i also like anais nin, if that is what your name is refering to.

Amazing! Well, if you are still in school. I can probably direct you to all of the info you need. He was my closest friend and self-described father figure. I handled his personal business, and haging on my wall right this moment in front of me is a copy of "I'm Not a Man" that he wrote by hand many years ago, and dedicated to ME! Nin was his friend, and he always said I had many of her qualities (but not her neuroses). thus my screen name. He shared gallery space with her when his Cosmographs were exhibited in Paris
